Day 3 is over for the men’s singles at the All England. No real surprises happening but a few neat matches. I thought Sho Sasaki (Japan) defeated Tsueng Seng Lee (Malaysia) 21-11 21-12, not a surprise but an interesting result. Another one was Jan O Jorgensen losing to Joachim Persson 21-15 21-18. I thought Jan O had a chance to take Joachim this time. Persson has been struggling lately and Jan O played very well in his first round. Ville Lang (Finland) getting a walkover against Sony Dwi Kuncoro (Indonesia) was strange….don’t know what happened there.
For the the match of the day tomorrow will be Peter Gade (Denmark) vs Taufik Hidayat (Indonesia) in the quarter finals. My money is on Gade:)
