I believe that this is a very appropriate song since every year for Christmas I come back home to Ottawa to celebrate Christmas with family and friends. Its an important time of year for me to come back to my roots and spend these important holidays with the people I care about. I hope everyone out there is able to do the same.

This version by Buble is a very nice one and quite fitting since he is also Canadian :)

I understand their feelings but I just went with my gut and chose to put this one on my website. If you have not heard the original Unforgiven from the Black album then I highly recomend it. This song really brings me back to my highschool days and beyond. At that time I could really get myself going before a match by listening to some Metallica and getting myself pumped. I think this might be the biggest song that Delerium has released and it’s beautifully sung by Sarah Mclachlan. This of course is not the original video but a montage of the video game Final Fantasy. I discovered it a long time ago and found the video VERY cool and has remained as one of my favorites for years. Although I am biased because I am a final fantasy fan I also think that you get sucked into its world and can’t help but become emotional once it’s done :)
All I can say is stick it out for the first 2 minutes because its worth it.

All of Scandinavia is awaiting their arrival since they have yearned for their comeback tour. Well my friends their prayers have been answered! They will be performing here in Copenhagen on the 15th of July in a Stadium that is right accross from my apartement building……so why buy the tickets when I can just open the window and enjoy the boy band classics :) If you don’t remember them I do not blame you, however it should be noted that that is where the famous Robbie Williams debued. So before you scoff at this middle aged boy band, please give them a try in one of their comeback songs, Kidz.
I guarantee you it will sizzle your musical palate and send you dancing with the stars….the metaphorical stars and not the game show :)

I just got back from the Maldives where I was competing for another Olympic qualifying tournament. I had a great chance to get one more result for my Olympic run but unfortunatly did not perform at my best and lost in the round of 16’s to Niluka Karunaratne from Sri Lanka. I had played him before and lost in 3 very close sets but this time I just was not on top of my game and let him walk away with the match 21-15 21-14. Its always painful when you have good chances for good results and let them fall short. But there is still a long year ahead of me and more great results to come.
In the meantime I will listen to this summer time song and feel good about having some fun under the sun :)
