This morning I am boarding another plane and heading off to Helsinki,Finland to compete in this year’s Finnish International. I have to admit after last year I vowed never to play in Finland again…the reason is because I have played there MANY times and never played well ONCE. However this year they have changed the venue and I had a change of heart. I decided to give it one more shot and hopefuly lifting the curse.
I play tomorrow morning against Christian Lind Thomsen (Denmark). We have played only once before a few years back in Italy. I won in two sets that time. I think Christian is playing well since last week he made the semi finals of the Polish Open by beating fellow teammate Jan O Jorgensen (Denmark).
So lets see what happens tomorrow!
