Lyngby Badminton Club, Undefeated
Yesterday Lyngby Badminton Klub played its 3rd team match of the season. We played on our home courts against Frederiksberg FKIF. I had to play a rematch against their number one singles Erick Anguiano (Guatemala), since the last time we played was at the Pan American Championships 2009. At the Pan Am’s I won in three difficult sets but yesterday was a different story. With the home court advantage I was able to control the game a bit better and won in two straight sets 21-7 21-17. However that is only one part of yesterday’s story. The rest of the team played brilliantly! So when I put “Undefeated” as part of today’s title it is not just because Lyngby is now 3 wins and 0 losses….but also because yesterday we won our team match 13-0! That is what they call a perfect game:) Our next team match will be on the 14th of November against Frederiksberg. They are the number two team in the group right now but we are number one:) So we have to keep it that way.
