    Hello Stephan,
My name is Jerry Zhang, a 17 year old teenager who resides in Fredericton, New Brunswick, Canada whom is now eager to be back on court again. I was recently diagnosed (now cured) with cancer, but I have successfully overcame sickness, which I am actually grateful for because it has in ways changed me, like the way I look at life and how lucky I am to be alive. I am trying to make a comeback now and since it’s summer time, there’s no better time than to train although I must listen to my body or as my doctors tell me. I’m interested in working with you because it seems that you have had a similar cross of fate with your surgery. Anyway, I have been talking to my coach, (Eric Boucher), whom you probably know, and I’ve been helping some teammates in New Brunswick train and hopefully get my level 1 coach certificate so I can help out some of the local high schools and get an interest and raise a racquet in such a small but diverse community.
I am aware that I am now low in speed, power, stamina, accuracy, consistency, patience, as because I have lost nearly 20 pounds in muscle mass and lung capacity due to chemotherapy treatment and surgery as well as no exercise in about 6 months. Please let me know if you are able to send any kind of drills or training or even some updates about some of your tournament experiences at the Surdiman Cup.
I wish you all the best.
    Happy Training,
    Jerry Zhang
