Another good day for me in my Round of 16 against Agus Wijaya (Denmark). In the first game I took a quick lead but let him come back a bit at the end of the set. In the second game he took the quick lead, roughly 8-3 but then I was able to go up 11-9. From there I always kept a 2-3 point lead until I took the match.
Tomorrow I will be playing my good buddy Andrew Dabeka (Canada) in the quarter finals. Andrew beat Joseph Rogers (Canada) in two straight sets 21-16 21-19.
David Snider (Canada) made quick work of Hock Lai LEE (Malaysia) in two sets 21-15 21-12. I believe if Snider plays as well tomorrow as he did today it will be a fantastic Quarter finals against Taufik Hidayat (Indondesia).
I look forward to my match tomorrow and to see how the other Quarter finals pan out.
